Route description

The route starts at the S-Bahn station Treptower Park. From there we keep north on Elsenstraße and reach the Berliner Mauerweg at Heidelberger Straße. Turn left and follow the Mauerweg. At a traffic island, the Mauerweg turns into the Heidekampgraben park.

The generously dimensioned path meets the former border crossing Sonnenallee and accompanies us to the Britzer Zweigkanal. On the opposite bank the path continues until it meets the Teltowkanal and the accompanying path between the canal and the freeway.

The Rudow-Altglienicke landscape park, which begins behind the overpass over the canal, leads to the former border crossing at Waltersdorfer Chaussee. The Berlin-Schönefeld Airport S-Bahn station is easy to reach from the north.
