No other region in Berlin has as many nature reserves as Treptow-Köpenick.
Cycle around Berlin's largest and most popular lake, discover the local flora and fauna and enjoy the green view from the Müggelturm.
Wuhler cycle path
The approximately 20 km long route takes you along the river Wuhle. Discover numerous highlights.
Especially recommendable are the stadium at the Alte Försterei and thus home ground of the soccer club 1.FC Union, the butterfly meadows and the castle Biesdorf.
Dahme Cycle path
The Dahme cycle path runs parallel to the Dahme river bank and passes several sights.
The route begins in the old town of Köpenick on the Dam Bridge, where the Dahme flows into the Spree. The baroque moated castle of the Hohenzollern lures you to the castle island. Also in Königs Wusterhausen a side trip to the castle is worthwhile.
European Cycle Route R1
The European Cycle Route R1 (section) leads you right across the district: Under the old plane trees of the Puschkinallee the route starts through the Treptower Park with its wide meadows and the Soviet memorial. It continues past Müggel Lake and Dämeritz Lake to Erkner.

From the Rudow subway station, you walk through the Old Cemetery and over the pedestrian bridge S-Bahnhof Altglienicke through the green corridor to the viewpoint on the Falkenberg. Our special recommendation is to visit the "Tuschkastensiedlung“ (painting village) in the garden city of Falkenberg - a UNESCO world heritage site.

From there, the route continues along Elsenstraße to the Berlin Wall Trail, past the former border crossing at Sonnenallee and the Britzer Zweigkanal. The route continues along the Berlin Teltowkanal to the former border crossing at Waltersdorfer Chaussee.
